Administrative Assistant II/Executive Officer the LKS Faculty of Medicine (Ref.: 531832) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance)
Applicants should possess a good university degree with at least 5 years’ supervisory experience in the higher education sector or a public/quasi-public organization. They should have an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese; exceptional interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills; and the ability to produce high-quality outputs in a fast-paced environment. Proven experience and demonstrated track record in one or more of the following areas are essential: (i) human resources; (ii) financial budgeting; (iii) education programme; (iv) research administration management; (v) public relations, event management and/or knowledge exchange; (vi) student wellness and engagement; (vii) information technology; (viii) clinical affairs; (ix) facility management; (x) committee support; and (xi) special projects. Those with less experience may be considered as Executive Officer.
The appointment will be made under the Faculty, and the appointee will be posted to school/department/faculty office in a rotational manner and provide support to one or more of the said functional areas. Work outside office hours and on weekends may be required occasionally. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend an interview and/or written test.
