AI Developer (at the rank of IT Officer/IT Technician) in the Teaching and Learning Innovation Centre (TALIC) (Ref.: 531838)

We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team and support software development projects.

The Role

  • Assist in building and maintaining web and mobile applications.
  • Keep up with new technologies, especially in AI, to enhance projects.
  • Work with the team to understand project needs and create solutions.
  • Code, test, and fix issues in applications to ensure they work well.
  • Help manage front-end (user interface) and back-end (server and database) tasks.
  • Improve application performance and usability.
  • Keep clear records of your work.
  • Meet project deadlines with support from the team.

Qualifications and Qualities

  • Diploma or above in Computer Science, IT, Web Development, or a related field.
  • Some experience in software or web development (including school or personal projects).
  • Basic skills in coding and using development tools.
  • Good problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn.
  • Able to work well in a team environment.

Candidates with more experience may be considered for appointment at the rank of IT Officer.

What We Offer

The appointment will be made on a temporary full-time contract, to commence as soon as possible until June 30, 2026. A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
