Executive (at the rank of Executive Officer) in the Development and Alumni Affairs Office (DAAO) (Ref.: 531862) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis, with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)
Applicants should possess the following qualifications:
- a good university degree with at least 5 years’ solid administrative experience, preferably in the higher education sector or of a related field;
- have an excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese;
- have strong communication, organizational and problem-solving skills;
- be a good team player, attentive to details, with the ability to multi-task, and to work independently with initiative and under pressure to meet tight deadlines; and
- advanced proficiency and/or experience in event management, external communications or marketing would be an advantage.
Responsibilities:
The appointee will be reporting to Assistant Director (Alumni Affairs) in handling the execution of a range of tasks, including but not limited to event and project management, donation campaign planning and execution, outreach, donations processing & reporting.
- Organize and manage events and donation campaign projects
- Develop and implement communication strategies to promote events and engage target audiences;
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of events and campaigns, prepare reports and recommendations for improvement;
- Develop and maintain relationships with key external and internal stakeholders; and
- Perform any other duties as assigned.
