Full-time/Part-time Graphic Designer (at the rank of Technical Officer/Senior Technical Assistant) in the Division of Neurology of the Department of Medicine (Ref.: 531866) (to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)
Applicants should possess 5 passes in HKCEE including English (min. Grade C if Syllabus A/Level 2 from 2007), Chinese (Level 2 from 2007) and Mathematics, OR min. Level 2 or equivalent in 5 subjects in HKDSEE including English Language, Chinese Language and Mathematics, with at least 5 years’ hands-on experience in graphic design, multimedia design or a related field; OR a recognized Bachelor’s degree. They should be competent in creative software such as Photoshop, Illustrator and Premiere. Knowledge of video production and website design is preferred. Experience in event coordination is an advantage. Those with lower qualifications or less experience may be considered for appointment as Senior Technical Assistant.
The appointee will develop creative concepts, layout, artwork and video production for various platforms such as websites, social media platforms, printed materials and assist in event coordination and promotion based on the guidance and requirement given by supervisors. He/She will mainly work on projects based at the Stroke Research and Prevention Group of HKU (HKU Stroke).
