Laboratory Attendant in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, School of Clinical Medicine (Ref.: 531867) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis or one-year temporary basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability)
Applicants should have completed Form 3 or above, with at least 5 years’ post-qualification experience in medical genetics in a research laboratory. They should be able to communicate in English and Chinese with good interpersonal skills. Those who have an autoclave operation license is preferred.
The appointee will carry out general duties in the Department’s laboratories, including cleaning and providing courier support.
A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits. The appointment on fixed-term basis will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme at 10% of basic salary.
