Senior Research Assistant (holding the functional title of Project Officer) in the School of Humanities (Linguistics) (Ref.: 531881) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totaling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance)

Applicants should have a good Bachelor’s degree with at least 3 years of relevant work experience, preferably in higher education or a related field. They should have an excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua), strong communications, organisational, data analytical skills and be proficient in computer literacy. They should also be highly independent, self-motivated and able to coordinate with internal and external stakeholders. Prior experience in research lab management is highly desirable.

The appointee will manage the day-to-day operations of The Language Development Lab, provide support for finance-related matters and ensure smooth project administration. He/She will also coordinate research projects and experiments to ensure timely and effective execution, and engage in outreach activities to promote the lab’s research and impact. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend an interview.
