Assistant Registrar/Administrative Assistant (Human Resources) in the Faculty of Business and Economics (Ref.: 531956) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)
Applicants should have a good bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline with at least 10 years of experience in human resources management, including no less than 5 years in managerial positions in sizable organizations, preferably in the tertiary education sector. They should demonstrate strong leadership capabilities, exceptional written and verbal communication skills in both English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua), and possess excellent interpersonal, analytical, critical, and strategic thinking skills. They should be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and collaborative team player with outstanding organizational abilities, capable of working independently and taking initiative. A commitment to quality and results, excellent time management and problem-solving skills, a professional work attitude, and a high level of computer literacy are essential attributes for the role. Applicants with less experience may be considered for appointment as Administrative Assistant I.
The appointee will support the formulation and implementation of human resource policies, procedures, systems, and guidelines in the Faculty; assist with academic recruitment; provide administrative/secretarial support to Committees; and perform any other duties as assigned.

The appointment will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totaling up to 15% of basic salary. Housing benefits will be provided for the Assistant Registrar rank.
