Duties and Responsibilities
The Applicant will work in the Jockey Club “Peace and Awareness” Mindfulness Culture in Schools Initiative under the Faculty of Social Sciences. The Initiative aims at studying and promoting mindfulness culture in Hong Kong schools. The appointee will be responsible for the smooth operation of the Initiative with major tasks including:
- implementing research and program evaluation
- collecting and analyzing data
- coordinating a team of research interns
- organising public education events
- performing relevant administrative tasks
- any other duties as assigned
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree or above in Psychology, Social Sciences or a related discipline
- Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese (including Putonghua)
- Good research skills in Psychology or Social Sciences
- Proficient in SPSS, MS Excel and Chinese typing
- Experience in implementation of community/education projects will be an advantage

The appointment will commence in late August 2025 on a 1-year temporary basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.
