IT Officer in the LKS Faculty of Medicine (Ref.: 532022) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance)

Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree or above in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline, with at least 2 years’ relevant project management experience in IT. Applicants should have excellent project management, communication, and interpersonal skills; be well familiar with IT best practices; and a good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese.

The appointee will be responsible for budgeting, planning, executing and overseeing various infrastructure and application projects. He/She will be involved in preparing project progress reports, overseeing project life-cycle, managing projects’ on-boarding service, identifying and addressing project risks to ensure projects and services are delivered on-track, on-time, and on-budget with proper documentation. Other duties include providing support during incident and crisis situations, collaborating in evaluating the performance of contractors and external service providers, contributing to the design of procurement strategies, and assisting in the preparation of tender documents and proposals. He/She will also engage in conducting technical feasibility studies for projects and helping in the identification of potential supplier related risks.
