Applications are invited for appointment as Director / Associate Director (Advancement Engagement) (at the rank of Assistant Registrar) in the Development & Alumni Affairs Office (DAAO) (Ref.: 532054) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)

The DAAO is looking for top-notch individuals who identify with the vision of HKU and want to take up the challenging portfolios of community engagement and fundraising.

The DAAO comprises dedicated professionals with a team culture that is upbeat, robust, resourceful and mission-driven in the areas of advancement operations, advancement engagement, development and alumni affairs.  If you are creative, dynamic, and keen on intellectual pursuits, here is the opportunity to make an impact.

Applicants should possess a university degree with at least 10 years’ management experience, and excellent communication skills in English and Chinese. The appointment will be made at the rank of Assistant Registrar and those with less experience will be considered with the title of Associate Director (Advancement Engagement).

Reporting to the Director of DAAO, the appointee will lead a team in the area of advancement engagement to innovate, lead and collaborate closely with the academic community as well as stakeholders of alumni and friends to rally support to achieve the University's goals.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits. The appointment will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 15% of basic salary. Housing benefits will be provided as applicable.
