Manager/ Assistant Manager (at the rank of Administrative Assistant II / Executive Officer) (Ref.: 532069) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance)

Applicants should possess a good university degree, preferably in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing or Business Administration, with at least 5 years’ solid administrative work experience in the higher education sector or of a related field. They should be competent, self-motivated communicators with a strong sense of responsibility, be able to work independently with minimal supervision and under pressure to meet tight deadlines. An excellent command of English and/or Chinese; a high level of interpersonal communication and organisational skills, strategic marketing sense, project management experience, problem-solving skills, as well as an appropriate level of IT knowledge are essential. Advanced proficiency and experience in website management and development would be a distinctive advantage. They should also be able to multi-task and be attentive to details. Those with lesser experience may be considered for appointment as Executive Officer.  

The appointee will provide marketing support to Faculty’s anniversary campaign and promotional initiatives, administrative support to branding initiatives, online communications and digital solutions. He/She may also support special projects and campaigns executed and/or undertaken by the Faculty.

The appointee will also need to maintain flexibility to perform other job-related duties and projects as assigned in support of the Faculty's mission, core values and goals. Work outside office hours and on weekends may be required occasionally. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend an interview and/or written test.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
