Senior Executive Assistant/Executive Assistant (at the rank of Clerk I/II) (several posts)  in the Faculty of Engineering (Ref.: 532128) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)

Applicants should hold a Bachelor’s degree, preferably with 2 - 3 years of work experience, preferably in tertiary education sector. They should possess a good command of English and Chinese (including Putonghua), proficiency in IT skills, a strong sense of responsibility, good problem-solving abilities, and interpersonal skills.  Fresh graduates with good academic background will also be considered.  

The appointee will join one of the administrative teams to provide support for taught postgraduate programmes:

  1. The individual(s) appointed will offer diverse administrative support for academic programs and committees, encompassing responsibilities such as admissions, program administration, examinations, scholarships, student affairs, and any other general administrative tasks as required. Candidates with expertise in managing databases or utilizing advanced Excel functions will be preferred.
  2. The individual(s) appointed will offer extensive administrative assistance to the newly established TPg Student Centre. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, managing class schedules, organizing student enrichment activities, coordinating workshops and seminars, and managing student services to enhance the overall experience for TPg students. Candidates with prior experience in organizing student activities and interacting with Mainland students will be preferred.

He/She may be required to work off-campus and outside normal office hours. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and an interview.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
