Full-time Research Assistant I/II in the School of Nursing (Ref.: 532159) (to commence as soon as possible for 12 to 18 months, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance)
Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree or above in Nursing, Social Sciences, Psychology, Statistics or other healthcare-related disciplines, preferably with experience in counselling and the knowledge of statistical analysis. They should have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese; and good interpersonal and organizational skills. They should also be responsible; highly motivated; and able to work independently and in a team. Those with less experience or lower qualifications may be considered for the post of Research Assistant II.
The appointee will assist the Principal Investigator, in coordinating ongoing research projects related to alcohol control, tobacco control and smoking cessation. He/She will also assist in participant recruitment; tracking project progress; and performing data entry and analysis, and other duties as assigned. On-the-job training related to research and statistical methods will be provided. Irregular working hours may be required occasionally.
