Senior Clerk/Clerk I in the Division of Public Health Laboratory Sciences, School of Public Health (Ref.: 532173), to commence as soon as possible, on a one-year temporary basis or a two-year fixed-term basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.
Applicants should possess a good university degree, preferably in science or related disciplines, with at least 2 years’ working experience in the higher education sector, preferably in university. They should have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese; good communication, organizational and problem-solving skills; IT proficiency; the ability to prioritize multiple tasks efficiently to meet tight deadlines; and competence in performing administrative duties and collaborating with different stakeholders. They should also be attentive to details, a good team player with self-motivation and a strong sense of responsibility. Experience in knowledge and technology transfer for Research and Development (R&D) is advantageous.
The appointee will provide administrative support to the financial matters of the School, including handling procurement processes such as Request for Quotation (RFQ), processing of payments, purchase orders, invoices and reimbursement claims etc. He/She may assist in budgetary control matters, and undertake other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
