Assistant Director, EMBA Marketing (at the rank of Administrative Assistant II) in the Faculty of Business and Economics (Ref: 532211) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)  
 
Applicants should possess a good bachelor's degree or equivalent, preferably with a master’s degree in business-related disciplines, plus at least 8 years’ of working experience of which at least 5 years in marketing. They should have supervisory and budget administration experience as well as marketing skills.  Prior work experience in higher education sector would be an advantage. They should also have an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua), strong interpersonal and communication skills, strategic thinking, and innovative problem-solving abilities. They should also possess effective organizational skills to initiate and execute plans, delivering high-quality results under tight deadlines, and proven leadership skills as a team builder and outcomes-driven leader with established connections to the professional community and industry. They should have a deep understanding of the global business environment, substantial experience engaging with entrepreneurs, corporate executives, and other business leaders, and the ability to deliver compelling presentations to large audiences, as well as facilitate small group discussions and outreach events. Advanced design and computer skills relevant to marketing and promotion, along with familiarity with marketing practices and promotional channels in Hong Kong and globally, are also required. Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience interacting with institutions and entrepreneurs.
 
The appointee will be responsible for supporting the marketing efforts of the Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) programme, including formation of marketing and strategy in handling marketing collaterals, implementing digital advertising campaigns, social media marketing and the ability to work with potential applicants.  He/She will also play a key role in planning and implementing student recruitment events, such as information sessions, admissions talks, virtual chats, fairs, webinars and campus visits to recruit quality candidates.   The appointee may be required to work outside normal office hours and during weekends, and travel frequently to mainland cities and other worldwide destinations to promote and engage with potential applicants.  Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and an interview.
