Assistant Director, Admissions for MBA Programmes (at the rank of Administrative Assistant II) in the Faculty of Business and Economics (Ref: 532275) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis, with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance)
Applicants should possess a bachelor’s degree with at least 10 years’ work experience in the higher education sector, preferably in admissions or programme administration. They should be strong team builders and outcome-driven professionals who are attentive to details, with excellent communication skills inclusive of a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Cantonese and Putonghua). They should have strategic thinking, innovative and effective organisational skills in initiating and executing plans to deliver expected quality outputs under tight deadlines. Previous experience in tertiary education admissions as well as knowledge and prior work experience in the higher education market in Mainland China would be an advantage.
The appointee will take full responsibility for the overall planning and implementation of admissions exercises for the MBA programmes (Full-time, Part-time (Hong Kong mode) and Part-time (Greater Bay Area mode)). He/She will work on the admissions strategy related to programme enquiries, application review and processing, interview arrangement and related admissions and enrolment analysis. As admissions representative, he/she will be tasked to support student recruitment events like information sessions, admissions talks, online chats, fairs, webinars, campus visits to engage with quality candidates and may be required to travel. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and an interview.
