Applications are invited for the following post:

 

Part-time Research Assistant I/II  in the Department of Surgery (to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)

 

Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent qualification, preferably in Biological Science. Experience and/or interest in clinical research and project coordination would be preferred. Applicants should have a strong sense of responsibility; good organizational, interpersonal and communication skills; and a good command of written and spoken Chinese (Cantonese) and English. They should be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to multitask and work independently. Experience in using Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) and Microsoft Excel would be highly desirable. The appointee will participate in data collection and database maintenance, and perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

 

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.  The appointments on two-year fixed-term basis will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary.
