Clerical Assistant in the Department of Real Estate and Construction (Ref.: 532319) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance).

Applicants should have at least 5 passes in HKCEE, including English (minimum grade C if Syllabus A/Level 2 from 2007), Chinese (Level 2 from 2007) and Mathematics, or a minimum Level 2 or equivalent in 5 subjects in HKDSE Examination, including English Language, Chinese Language and Mathematics.  Applicants should possess a good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Cantonese and Putonghua).  Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is required.  They should also be eager to learn, possess strong interpersonal skills, be attentive to detail, self-motivated, responsible, and detail-oriented.  Prior experience working in tertiary education institutions is an advantage.  

The appointee will provide comprehensive clerical and administrative support to the Department, including but not limited to reception services, clerical and logistic support in office maintenance and personnel and financial matters, and other duties as assigned by the Head of Department or his delegate.  The appointee may be required to work on weekends or public holidays occasionally.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
