Assistant Manager (at the rank of Executive Officer) in the Faculty of Social Sciences (Ref: 532370) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis, with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance).
Applicants should possess a good Bachelor's degree with at least 4-6 years’ supervisory work experience, preferably in tertiary education institutions. Experience in programme management would be an advantage. They should be competent communicators with an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua). They should possess strong interpersonal, organisational, communication and problem-solving skills, and be attentive to details. They should also be able to work independently and as part of a team, multi-tasking under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
The appointee will provide administrative and secretarial support for the planning, execution and development of executive training programmes, including programme administration, marketing outreach activities, secretarial support to relevant committees, coordination of teaching and learning activities, liaison with internal and external stakeholders, and any other duties as assigned. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend an interview and written test.
