Post-doctoral Fellow in the Department of Anaesthesiology, School of Clinical Medicine (Ref.: 532402) (to commence as soon as possible, on a one-year temporary basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance)
Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in Biological/Medical Sciences or a related discipline. They should be self-motivated, responsible, able to work independently and in a team, fluent in written and spoken English, and competent in basic computer database management. Familiarity or experience with gene sequencing or gene manipulation will be an advantage.
The appointee will be involved in laboratory research work in the area of neuroscience and be expected to be competent in basic laboratory techniques such as Western Blot, PCR, cell culture and small animal handling. He/she will also contribute to research projects on neuroscience and perform other duties as assigned.
