Part-time Fitness Centre Coordinator (at the rank of Facilities Assistant) in the Centre for Sports and Exercise (CSE) (Ref.: 532426) (to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)
Applicants should have a Higher Diploma/Associate Degree, preferably in Sports Science, Exercise Science or equivalent. They should also have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua); and the ability to deal and interact with members and users in a positive and professional manner, and work actively and independently as well as in a group setting. Holder of professional certifications in fitness training would be advantageous.
The appointee will oversee the usage of the fitness centres; provide general training guidance to users; ensure the facilities are kept in good order, clean and safe for users at all times; assist in fitness and wellness projects; and undertake other duties as assigned.
This position will be primarily based at the HKU B-Active at Novum Place in Shek Tong Tsui or Centennial Campus. The appointee will be required to work in shift duties between 07:30 and 22:30. On-the-job training will be provided.
A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered.
