Senior Executive Assistant/Executive Assistant, Research Administration (at the rank of Clerk I/II) in the Faculty of Business and Economics (Ref.: 532440) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis, with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal)
 
Applicants should possess a good bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years’ work experience, preferably in a tertiary institution.  They should have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua); effective coordination, communication and interpersonal skills; computer literacy; and the ability to multitask under pressure and work independently as well as in a team.  They should also be detail-oriented and self-motivated with a strong sense of responsibility.  Fresh graduates with a good academic background will also be considered.  Applicants with lower qualifications and/or less experience may be considered as Clerk II.  Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and an interview.
 
The appointee will provide administrative support to the Faculty’s research development and knowledge exchange initiatives as well as to the research postgraduate programme.  He/she will assist in the administration of research grants and awards, manage research output databases, organise committee meetings and events, prepare meeting documents and ad-hoc reports, as well as handling enquiries and applications of prospective students, organise promotional and outreach activities, handle student matters in course enrolment, examinations, funding and scholarships, and perform any other duties as assigned.
 
A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
