Research Assistant I/II in the Division of Restorative Dental Sciences of the Faculty of Dentistry (Ref. 532545) (to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)
Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree or above, preferably in Dentistry, Medicine, Microbiology, Biological Sciences, Medical Imaging, or relevant disciplines. They should have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, experience in research methodology, academic writing, and the use of statistical software, a strong sense of responsibility and self-motivation, and a hard-working attitude. Preference will be given to those with an interest in pursuing PhD in relevant fields, or a good track record in Cariology research.
The appointee will assist a team to liaise with related parties, collect clinical samples and perform laboratory work involving human clinical samples for community-based projects. He or she may perform administrative duties and other duties as assigned. On-the-job training will be provided. Fresh graduates with an interest in these fields are also welcome to apply.
