Administrative Assistant II/Executive Officer in the General Services of the Registry (Ref.: 532654) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis, with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, and with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)
Applicants should possess a good Bachelor's degree, with 5 years’ solid administrative work experience in a tertiary institution. They should have an excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese; good organisational, interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills; good IT knowledge; and the ability to work independently and under pressure to meet tight deadlines. They should also be a good team player with solid experience in committee work, the ability to multi-task and be attentive to details. The appointee is expected to provide support to the governance work of the University including servicing of committees, and to perform any other duties as assigned. Candidates with less experience, but not less than 3 years and preferably in a tertiary institution, may be considered for appointment as Executive Officer. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and an interview.
