Teaching Assistant in the Department of Family Medicine and Primary Care, School of Clinical Medicine (Ref.: 532678) (to commence in August 2025 or as soon as possible thereafter, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance)

 

Requirements

Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s or above in health science, biomedical sciences, or a related discipline. They should have at least one year of experience in teaching and/or research. Applicants should demonstrate an interest in health and scientific communication, possess excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, and have an excellent command of written and spoken English. Proficiency in Cantonese would be an asset. Experience in small group teaching is highly desirable.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

The appointee will be responsible for facilitating weekly small group tutorials, preparing teaching materials, assisting course teachers in course preparation and administration, and performing other duties as assigned. The appointee will provide teaching support for a Common Core course on introductory health sciences taught at the undergraduate level.

Remuneration

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
