Clerical Assistant in Simon K. Y. Lee Hall and Swire Hall (Ref. :532711) (to commence in September 2025, on 2-year fixed-term basis/ 1-year temporary contract, with the possibility of renewal, subject to satisfactory performance.) Appointment on fixed-term basis will be offered a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary.)

The successful candidate must possess five passes in HKCEE including English (minimum Grade C if Syllabus A/Level 2 from 2007), or at least Level 2 or equivalent in five subjects in HKDSEE including English Language. Preference will be given to applicants with 1-2 years of relevant work experience. The position requires excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Cantonese and Putonghua), along with strong IT skills and proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). Essential qualities include strong communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to work both independently and collaboratively, attention to detail, a strong sense of responsibility, and the capacity to work effectively under pressure.

The appointee will be responsible for providing comprehensive clerical and administrative support to the office. Primary duties include handling inquiries via emails and phone calls, drafting official notices and correspondence, and assisting the Students' Association with logistics preparation for events and activities. The position also involves managing the ordering and inventory of hall consumables, maintaining fixed asset inventory record and assisting with student move-in/move-out procedures. Additional responsibilities include preparing petty cash reports, issuing receipts, handling maintenance and housekeeping matters, and performing other assigned duties as required. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend an interview.
