Research Assistant I/ Research Assistant II (holding the functional title of Assessment and Analysis Officer) in the Teaching and Learning Innovation Centre (Ref.: 532718) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability)
Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree or above in Psychology/Social Science or a related discipline with one year’s work experience in quantitative and qualitative analyses. Advanced proficiency with SPSS, Excel, and other statistical analysis software (such as, R) is essential. Familiarity with AI techniques, experience working with large-scale dataset, and solid knowledge and skills in quantitative and qualitative research methods would be a distinct advantage.
Candidates should have proficient communication and writing skills in English, demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative team environment, and be able to multitask and pay close attention to detail. The appointee will support various institutional surveys and projects on teaching and learning; collect and analyze data; produce reports; conduct interviews, and write up manuscripts. The appointee will also perform general administrative, operational, and other duties as assigned by the supervisor. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and an interview.
