IT Officer in the Department of Medicine, School of Clinical Medicine (Ref.: 532729) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)

Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree or above in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline, with at least 2 years’ relevant experience.  They should have proficiency in various operating system environments such as Windows and MacOS; knowledge of Office applications, Zoom and Learning Management System and Digital Assessment System like Moodle and Inspera; a strong sense of responsibility; and the ability to work independently as well as in a team.  They should also be competent in troubleshooting and maintenance of computers and audio-visual equipment.

The appointee will provide end-user support for daily operations and maintenance of computing and AV facilities; conduct computer installations and IT procurement; administer IT asset inventories; and perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.  On-the-job training will be provided.  Working outside normal office hours and on weekends may be required.  Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend an interview.
