The Department of Urban Planning and Design invites applications for 1-3 Post-Doctoral Fellow (PDF) positions in BIM and LLM (Ref. no. 532733). Appointments will commence as soon as possible, with the possibility of renewal based on performance and funding availability.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead and manage innovative research projects in BIM and LLM;
- Collaboratively develop LLM-based platforms for BIM modeling checking;
- Assist in crafting competitive grant proposals;
- Publish high-impact research in leading journals; and
- Mentor postgraduate students and junior researchers.

Requirements
- A PhD degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., civil engineering, computer science, AI, architecture, or related fields);
- A strong publication track record;
- Experience with Building Information Modeling (BIM), including Revit, IFC, ifcopenshell, compliance checking, design generation, and design checking; and
- Experience in AI and LLM-related development, including RAG, knowledge graph, code generation, agent development, multimodal AI applications, or related technologies.
