Senior Executive Assistant (at the rank of Clerk I) (2 posts) in the Department of Microbiology, School of Clinical Medicine (Ref.: 532742) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)
Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree, preferably with at least 3 years’ relevant work experience. They should have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua); a strong sense of responsibility; and the ability to work independently and under pressure to meet tight deadlines, and to prioritize multiple tasks efficiently. They should also be attentive to details and self-motivated. Proficiency in PC and application software (including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) would be essential.
For Post A, the appointee will provide administrative support for academic programmes, including processing applications, assisting in course arrangements and academic coordination, and interacting with prospective candidates, students and other stakeholders.
For Post B, the appointee will handle procurement process and reimbursement claims for the Department, including preparing order requisition, RFQ and tender documents.
Appointees may also be required to assist in general office administration, handle enquiries, undertake specific or general clerical tasks and perform other duties as assigned.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and an interview.
