Senior IT Assistant in the LKS Faculty of Medicine (Ref.: 532752) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance)
Applicants should possess a Higher Diploma or above in Computer Science, IT, Project Management, or a related discipline, with at least one year of relevant experience in IT project coordination or campus development support. Strong written and spoken communication skills in English and Chinese are essential for effective stakeholder engagement. Basic familiarity with project management tools and documentation practices is required, while knowledge of campus development processes and procurement procedures will be considered a strong asset.
The appointee will be responsible for:
- Assisting in planning and executing IT projects aligned with campus expansion/modernization goals, including timeline and budget tracking, documentation (e.g., progress reports, risk logs), and organizing stakeholder meetings to align deliverables with strategic objectives;
- Assisting in the preparation of procurement documents to ensure compliance with university policies and support adherence to sustainability standards and campus development regulations; and
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, relaying project updates, addressing stakeholder concerns, and ensuring alignment with campus development objectives.
The successful candidate must exhibit a proactive approach to learning; demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail; and maintain flexibility to occasionally work outside standard hours to ensure timely project delivery.
