The Campus Services Office (CSO) is seeking a high-calibre individual to join the team as Senior Manager - Business Development and Marketing. The CSO is a newly established unit to unify the management of various service entities, including catering services, on-campus business outlets, postgraduate residences, and future operations of guest accommodations and staff quarters. The aims are fostering a service-oriented culture, improving operational efficiency, and ensuring the long-term financial sustainability of these units by taking a more dynamic business approach.
Qualities and Qualifications
- Applicants should possess a good Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications or a related field;
- Not less than 5 years of proven work experience in brand-building, marketing campaign management, digital marketing, content marketing, or external communications;
- The ability to manage fast-paced projects and collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners in a dynamic environment;
- Strong analytical skills to interpret data, generate insights, create and present marketing strategy to the management;
- Self-motivation, strong organizational abilities, multitasking, problem-solving, communication and interpersonal skills;
- Excellent communication skills in English and Chinese;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint), experience with Google Analytics;
- Familiarity with AI tools, managing social media platform, proficiency in Canva for creating digital content is an advantage; and
- Ability to work independently and as a team in a fast-paced environment
Detailed Responsibilities
- Drive growth and expand opportunities for the CSO's service-oriented endeavors, identifying new markets, forging strategic partnerships, developing and promoting campus services within the CSO’s portfolio;
- Support the development of promotional strategies for various campus services, development, execution of marketing plans to boost the CSO’s brand and visibility;
- Study trends, research potential new markets, partnerships, and new ways to brand and promote existing products or services;
- Cultivating and maintaining relationships with external stakeholders, potential clients, industry partners, both within and outside the University;
- Creating proposals, developing pricing strategies, and negotiating agreements for various projects and collaborations;
- Staying industry developments, competitor activities, market trends, and presenting reports and strategies to management; and
- Plan, execute, and monitor marketing campaigns across paid and organic channels, analyze data and results to evaluate campaign performance;
- Collaborate with website vendors to develop landing pages and manage content uploads;
- Coordinate with internal teams, external vendors and partners to ensure timely campaign launches; and
- Participate in ad-hoc projects and duties, as assigned by the Director
