Senior Technical Assistant in Imaging and Flow Cytometry Core of the Centre for PanorOmic Sciences (CPOS) (Ref.: 533045) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)

The Role

  • Operation and maintenance of core equipment
  • Organization of users training and workshops
  • Development and implementation of standard operation protocols
  • Preparation of usage and financial reports
  • Assistance with administrative duties as assigned

Qualifications and Qualities

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Biological Sciences, Biotechnology, Physics or a related discipline
  • Experience in biomedical research, and/or core equipment operation is preferred
  • Self-motivated, responsible, willingness to learn new techniques and enjoy teamwork
  • Good communication skills
  • Competency in MS Office applications
