Applications are invited for appointment as Lecturer in the Bau Institute of Medical and Health Sciences Education (Ref. 533070), to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.
Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree, preferably in Education or a related field. They should have a minimum of 3 years of teaching-related experience at the tertiary level, and demonstrate a strong commitment to teaching. Solid experience in supporting large-scale multi-institutional interprofessional education programmes would be an advantage.
The appointee will be responsible for optimizing the Institute's interprofessional education and professional development programmes; planning and executing student-as-partner teaching activities; developing new initiatives that strengthen the Institute's outreach and training capabilities; performing academic and research-related duties; and undertaking other assigned responsibilities. The appointee will be expected to work collaboratively with teachers, supporting staff, students and other stakeholders.
A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits. At current rates, salaries tax does not exceed 15% of gross income. The appointment will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 15% of basic salary.
