Manager, Career Development & Training (TPG) (at the rank of Executive Officer) in the Faculty of Business and Economics (Ref.: 533139) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis, with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totaling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)
 
Applicants should hold a bachelor’s degree, with a minimum of five years of professional experience in a relevant field such as corporate business development, relationship management, campus recruitment and talent acquisition. Applicants should be a detail-oriented, proactive self-starter who excels at multitasking and possesses a strong sense of ownership, thriving both autonomously and as a collaborative team member. A genuine passion for guiding student career strategy is essential, coupled with a proven ability to secure new internship opportunities through adept business development and to effectively match students with these roles. Professional proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Mandarin) is required.
 
The appointee will support the Career Development and Training Services of Taught Postgraduate (TPg) programmes and be responsible for building a robust pipeline of high-quality internships and managing external vendors that support our student services. This role will serve as the primary point of contact for students guiding them through the internship search and matching them with roles that align with their skills, career goals, and employer requirements. The appointee will track outcomes, gather feedback, and conduct follow-ups to capture insights, measure program effectiveness, and collaborate with employers to convert high-performing interns into full-time hires. The appointee will also contribute to career resources planning, support the logistics and administration of the general career services the team provides and assist with other ad-hoc projects as needed. The appointee will work at the Faculty’s Cyberport campus. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend an interview and a presentation session.
