Research Assistant I/II in Community Child Health in the Department of Paediatrics and Adolescent Medicine (Ref.: 533189) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis or a one-year temporary basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)
 
The appointee(s) will work with a team of researchers on projects related to large-scale population-based longitudinal studies and electronic medical records-based cohort studies, particularly in the areas of early childhood nutrition and healthy lifestyle. The appointee(s) will conduct data collection, analysis and interpretation, prepare scientific publications, grant proposals and reports, prepare and manage IRB applications, provide general administrative and operational support, and perform other duties as assigned.
 
Applicants should possess: (i) a Bachelor’s degree or above in nutrition, Public Health, Epidemiology, or other health-related disciplines; (ii) excellent written and oral communication skills; (iii) strong problem-solving, organisational and administrative abilities; and (iv) attention to detail, with the ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary team. Proficiency in big data manipulation, longitudinal analyses, and a track record of publications would be an advantage. On-the-job training will be provided.
