Senior Executive Assistant (at the rank of Clerk I) in the Academic Support and Examinations Section of the Registry (Ref.: 533191) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)

 

Applicants should have 5 passes in HKCEE, including English (min. Grade C if Syllabus A/Level 2 from 2007), Chinese (Level 2 from 2007) and Mathematics, OR min. Level 2 or equivalent in 5 subjects in HKDSEE including English Language, Chinese Language and Mathematics, with at least 5 to 6 years’ relevant experience; OR a recognised Associate Degree/Higher Diploma with 4 years’ relevant work experience in office administration, preferably in the education sector.  They should also have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese; strong communication and problem-solving skills; as well as good computer knowledge and IT skills (such as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese word processing).  Applicants should be self-motivated, attentive to details, possess excellent organisational skills and be able to prioritize multiple tasks.  Experience in tertiary institutions would be a definite advantage.   

 

The appointee will provide secretarial support to the Head of Academic Support and Examinations Section and assistance for general office administration, including liaison with different parties, logistics arrangement for committee meetings, and perform any other duties as assigned.  He/She may be required to work outside normal office hours and on weekends.  Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and an interview.
