Internal Audit Officer / Assistant Internal Audit Manager (at the rank of Accounting Officer / Assistant Finance Manager) in the Internal Audit Office (Ref.: 533293)
The Role
The appointee will be responsible for conducting internal audit reviews, compliance audits, and ad-hoc assignments.
Qualifications and Qualities
- Tertiary qualifications in relevant disciplines, preferably holding a university degree and/or having passed professional examinations in an internal auditing qualification such as CIA, CISA, or CFE.
- A minimum of two years of relevant experience in external or internal audit, management consultancy.
- Familiarity with information systems auditing and data analytics applications.
- University audits experience would be an advantage.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English, with excellent report writing skills
- Competence in Chinese; Putonghua would be an asset
- The ability to work independently and with initiative
- Strong analytical and communication skills
Candidates who exceed the minimum requirements may be considered for appointment at the level of Assistant Internal Audit Manager.
What We Offer
The appointment will be made on fixed-term full-time contract for two years, to commence as soon as possible with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance. A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, together with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme at 10% of basic salary. Other benefits include annual leave and medical benefits.
