Part-time Nurse (holding the functional title of Research Nurse) in the Department of Microbiology, School of Clinical Medicine (Ref.: 533445) (to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)
Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree or above in Nursing, and be registered with the Nursing Council of Hong Kong. They should be able to work independently and in a team; have a good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese (including Cantonese and Putonghua); and good communication and interpersonal skills. Experience in conducting clinical studies would be an advantage.
The appointee will be involved in conducting clinical studies, with duties including but not limited to: collecting blood specimens and demographic and clinical data; monitoring research progress; reviewing and finalizing all assessment instruments and publicity items; and assisting in the preparation of evidence-based protocols and data analysis. They will also participate in clinical research projects related to emerging infectious diseases, and perform other duties as assigned. Irregular working hours may be required occasionally.
