The Role
- Support core services for sample processing and equipment maintenance
- Support data management in the Biobank Core using LIMS
- Liaise with users to coordinate service logistics
Qualifications and Qualities
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Biomedical Sciences, Biological Sciences, Biochemistry, Biotechnology or a related discipline
- Strong passion for science and technologies
- Self-motivated, responsible, conscientious, meticulous; and enjoy teamwork
- Good command of spoken and written Chinese and English
- Proficiency in MS Office applications
- Prior experience in processing clinical samples would be an advantage
- Proficiency in using microtome and cryostat for FFPE, and frozen tissue sectioning and embedding would be an advantage
- Candidates with higher qualifications or more experience may be considered for appointment as Technical Officer
