Research Assistant Professor in the Centre for Information Technology in Education within the Faculty of Education (Ref.: 533519).

We now invite applications for the captioned post. 

Duties and Responsibilities 

  • collaborate closely with the Principal Investigator and the project team to work with local schools, teachers, and students 
  • lead the multi-year data collection and analysis, supervise project team members 
  • develop state-of-the-art assessments 
  • present and publish research findings


Requirements

  • a Ph.D. degree in Educational Measurement, Psychometrics, Quantitative Psychology, Statistics, or a related field 
  • a strong commitment to research and teaching 
  • a solid track record in research is essential, preferably in modern psychometrics, digital literacy, and assessment of novel constructs


What We Offer


The appointment will commence as soon as possible on a 2-year fixed-term basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered. The appointment on fixed terms will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme at 15% of basic salary. Other benefits include annual leave, medical benefits and free access to on-campus gyms and libraries.
