Senior Technical Assistant/ Senior Laboratory Assistant (several posts) in the Department of Pathology, School of Clinical Medicine (Ref.: 533691) (to commence as soon as possible, on a one-year temporary basis, with possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability)
Applicants should have completed Form 6 or above or equivalent with Certificate or Diploma in Biological Science; Working experience in a research or clinical laboratory and certificate holder in Electric Boilers Safety issued by an authorized institute would be an advantage.
The appointees will assist in the daily operations of medical research laboratory which include maintaining cleanliness of laboratory and laboratory wares, operation of equipment, handling of chemicals and potentially infectious materials; provide guided assistance in basic research work include caring of experimental animals, preparation of laboratory reagents and perform other duties as assigned by supervisors. On-the-job training will be provided as required.
