Post-doctoral Fellow in the Department of Civil Engineering(Ref.: 533698), to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conduct advanced research in structural health monitoring, including hardware development.
  • Perform numerical studies and model testing.
  • Analyze and interpret data to provide recommendations for system design and optimization.
  • Prepare manuscripts and publish findings in peer-reviewed journals.
  • Assist in securing external funding through grant applications and proposals.

Requirements

  • Ph.D. in Civil Engineering.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant research experience.
  • Familiarity with sensors and structural design.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++, MATLAB, or Python.
  • A strong publication record is an advantage.

The appointment will commence as soon as possible on a temporary basis for 1 year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability].
