Technical Officer in the School of Biomedical Sciences (Ref.:533716) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal)
Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree, preferably with a postgraduate degree, and have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese. They should have solid work experience in molecular and cell biology, biological sciences or a related discipline. They should also be highly motivated, and able to work independently and as a team in a multi-disciplinary laboratory environment. Practical experience in mammalian stem cell culture, organoid generation, qPCR, Western blotting, or omics analyses, would be advantageous.
The appointees will provide laboratory and administrative support in biomedical research, and technical support in communal facilities; and assist in teaching including student practicum.
A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
