Manager, Career Development & Training (Corporate Development) (at the rank of Executive Officer) in the Faculty of Business and Economics (Ref. 533759) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis, with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totaling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal)
 
Applicants should hold a bachelor’s degree and possess at least five years of full-time work experience in business development, account management, or a related field. Applicants should be passionate, professional, detail-oriented self-starter with a proactive attitude and strong multitasking abilities. The role demands excellent interpersonal skills, a strong sense of urgency, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Fluency in written and spoken English and Chinese (Putonghua and Cantonese) is required. Applicants should have strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to build effective, strategic partnerships with HR and business leaders. A solid understanding of industry trends and the capacity to connect business needs to academic and student engagement priorities are essential.
 
The appointee will work at the Faculty's Cyberport campus, supporting the Career Development and Training Services of Corporate Development team. The goal is to build strong, strategic partnerships that enhance the employability of students and graduates, and to connect them with leading companies. The appointee will identify and pursue partnership opportunities with a diverse range of companies, leveraging market trends and business intelligence to align collaborations with the School’s strategic priorities. The role emphasizes forging and maintaining strong relationships with corporate partners, understanding business objectives across various industries in the Hong Kong market, and collaborating on mutually beneficial initiatives. The appointee will support corporate development across the Business School by collaborating with the Careers, Marketing & Admissions, and Alumni teams. The appointee is responsible for proposing innovative partnership opportunities, developing targeted campus engagement initiatives with corporate partners, managing logistics and administration for business development meetings and events, and handling ad hoc projects as needed.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend an interview and a presentation session.
