Research Assistant I (holding the functional title of Project Officer) in the Department of Chemistry (Ref.:533761) (to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability)
Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree and have at least 1–2 years of administrative experience. They should have a strong command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Cantonese and Putonghua), a high level of responsibility, and attention to detail. The appointee will provide administrative support to a Chair Professor, including managing daily schedules and assisting with the publicity of research work, providing general support for the research group and events, and performing other duties as assigned.
Proficiency in management skills is essential, particularly in excellent organizational and time-management, strong communication and interpersonal abilities, ability to multitask and work independently, and familiarity with university systems and academic environment. Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an interview.
