Administrative Assistant II/Executive Officer in the Faculty of Law (Ref.: 533934) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basis salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance).

Applicants should possess a good Bachelor’s degree with at least 5 years’ work experience preferably in the education sector. They should have strong accounting and/or data analysis skills. A good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua); excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and strong IT capabilities in MS Office (especially in Excel), PC and software applications are essential. They should also be a good team player with the ability to multi-task, be attentive to details, and work independently to meet strict deadlines. 

The appointee will be responsible for a range of accounting and financial functions for the Faculty, including managing grants; overseeing resource planning and financial management, such as budget control, resource allocation, and regular financial reviews; and preparing financial analyses and reports to support management decision-making. The role also involves supporting ad-hoc projects and process improvement initiatives as needed. Additionally, the appointee will review the Faculty’s financial arrangements, procedures, and workflows, as well as perform any other duties as assigned.  Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and interview.  Applicants with less experience may be considered for the position of Executive Officer.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
