Clerk II/Clerical Assistant in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, School of Clinical Medicine (Ref.: 533943) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis or one-year temporary basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability)

Applicants should possess 5 passes in HKCEE including English (min. Grade C if Syllabus A / Level 2 from 2007), OR min. Level 2 in 5 subjects in HKDSEE including English Language, with at least 5 years’ clerical experience.  They should have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese; good communication and interpersonal skills; and proficiency in PC and various software applications including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese word processing.  They should also be hard-working, self-motivated and meticulous.  Those with less experience and/or lower qualifications may be appointed as Clerical Assistant. 

The appointee will provide clerical support to the Department’s general office and undertake other duties as assigned.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered.  The appointment on fixed-term basis will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary.  Other benefits include annual leave, medical benefits and free access to on-campus gyms and libraries.
