Full-time/Part-time Research Assistant II in the Laboratory of Biomedical Imaging and Signal Processing, Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (Ref.: 533946）(to commence as soon as possible, on a one-year temporary contract basis).
Applicants should possess a Higher Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in healthcare-related disciplines Biomedical Engineering/Sciences, Neuroscience, Biology or other related disciplines. They should have strong communication and collaboration skills as a team. Fluent spoken Cantonese, English and previous experience in assisting patient study, computer or data-organizing would be an advantage. They should have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Cantonese and Putonghua) and good computer literacy. They should also be good team players with good organisational, communication, problem-solving and interpersonal skills, be able to work independently and be self-motivated. Applicants who have previous experience in assisting patient study, computer or data-organizing would be an advantage.
The appointee will be responsible for patient screening, recruitment, scheduling scans, assisting in the MRI scans and other research-related duties as assigned by the investigators. For full-time appointment, the appointment will be required to work 39 hours per week and for part-time appointment, appointee will be required to work 5 to 10 hours per week.
