Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow in School of Biomedical Sciences (Ref.: 533955), to commence as soon as possible for two years, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance.

Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in Biological/Biomedical Sciences or equivalent. They should have a good command of written and spoken English, good interpersonal and communication skills, high motivation as well as a strong sense of responsibility and commitment. Preference will be given to those with previous research experience in virus-host interaction, influenza viruses and animal models. Eligibility to work in Biosafety Level 3 facility is an advantage. The appointee will contribute substantially to research projects on molecular virology and immunology of emerging and re-emerging viruses (e.g. coronaviruses and influenza viruses).
